Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Radiology - MRI Technologist for a position located in College Station, Texas. The role involves performing MRI scans, primarily MSK, Neuro, and Body imaging for both inpatient and outpatient settings. The technologist will work in a department equipped with Philips and Siemens MRI scanners, with a focus on patient care, equipment operation, and ensuring high-quality imaging in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: M-F, 7:30 AM start time, with required call responsibilities including every third week, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a 24-hour call on weekends. Weekend shifts during the call week also require reporting for pending inpatients.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with MRI devices and 1.5T equipment; Certification Requirements include BLS (AHA), Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR), and a Medical Radiologic Technologist license issued by the Texas Medical Board (TMB). Candidates must have demonstrated experience on either Philips or Siemens MRI equipment, with a minimum of 7 years of MRI experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Philips and Siemens MRI scanners is highly preferred. Knowledge of EMR and PACS systems such as Meditech and Synapse is also advantageous.
• Equipment: Experience required on Philips or Siemens MRI systems, typically one to two scanners per location.
• Additional Information: The role involves performing MSK, Neuro, and Body scans for both inpatient and outpatient populations, including IV starting and creatinine draws. The department may require the technologist to float between locations if familiar with the equipment or if the contract is extended. The position does not require a radiology supervisor or lead technician, and no registered radiology assistants are used.
