Flagstar Nursing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Columbus, Ohio.

FSN is seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and experienced in working in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of MRI procedures using established protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Screen patients thoroughly for MRI safety (e.g., implants, contraindications)
  • Operate MRI equipment and adjust technical parameters for optimal image quality
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions
  • Administer contrast media in accordance with protocols and physician orders
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure accurate diagnosis
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the EMR/PACS systems
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, infection control policies, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT certification (RT) with MRI certification (ARRT-MR) or ARMRIT certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based MRI experience.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and protocols

Shift & Schedule:

  • Night shift: 5x8.5 hours
