Job Summary: The location is seeking an MRI Technologist for a rotating shift schedule. The ideal candidate will independently perform imaging procedures utilizing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology. This role requires competence in various technical procedures, adherence to safety protocols, and effective patient interaction within a fast-paced diagnostic environment.
Job Details:
Schedule: Rotating shift; 12 hours shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology, or completion of an accredited CNMT, ARMRIT or ARDMS program with MRI registry. MRI registry must be acquired within 18 months of the primary registry date or date of hire if already obtained. CNMT, ARDMS, and ARMRIT graduates must obtain MRI registry within 12 months of hire date. A minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI is required. Certification in ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), or ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists), or NMTC (Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification), or ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Valid licenses including PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, and PA Act 73.
