Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for an evening shift assignment requiring MRI and Siemens equipment experience with ARRT MRI certification.

Details

• Level II trauma medical center with 324 beds offering primary and specialty care services
• Evening shift, 5x8 hour shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• One weekend per month required (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)
• No call requirements
• Uses Siemens MRI equipment and Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active ARRT certification in MRI required
• Active AHA BLS certification required
• MRI experience required
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Skills checklist pertinent to MRI specialty, current within 1 year, required for consideration
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required for consideration
• License required if applicable
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility for consideration

Additional Information

• Prepare scan room and patient for MRI examinations
• Administer IV and oral contrast materials as indicated and screen patients for contraindications
• Explain procedures and answer patient questions prior to scanning
• Position patients appropriately and perform scans using correct protocols, coils, and restraints
• Prepare and review records for radiologist accuracy and completeness
• Matching scrubs of any color required for dress code
• Facility does not consider local candidates due to radius restriction
