Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) for a position located in Elmhurst, New York. This role involves working in an acute care setting with rotating shifts, requiring flexibility in schedule, including performing MRI and X-ray procedures as needed. The selected candidate will play a vital part in providing quality imaging services within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Job Details:
- Location: Elmhurst, NY
- Shift: Rotating shift pattern, 4PM - 12AM, alternating weekends and holidays required
- Schedule: Shift: 4PM - 12AM, alternating weekends and holidays required. Must be able to perform MRI and X-ray procedures as needed
- Required Qualifications:
- Associates degree from a Radiologic Technology program
- At least 1 year of MRI experience in an acute setting
- Knowledge of GE or Philips MRI equipment
- Current certification and registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
- NY State Department of Health (NYSDOH) Radiologic Technologist license
- Valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH
- Preferred Qualifications:
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Training:
- A two-week training session, from 9AM - 5PM, including the Electronic Patient Information Chart (EPIC) class
- Skills & Experience:
- One (1) year of MRI experience
- Relevant equipment experience in MRI procedures
