Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 26-week assignment requiring 2+ years of current MRI experience and ARRT (MR) certification.

Details

• Radiology department at a teaching hospital offering a full continuum of medical specialties
• Two 16-hour shifts per week, Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• Approximately 9 patients per shift
• Uses GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment
• Always paired with another Tech Aide or MRI Tech, never working solo
• Department covered by on-call staff after midnight
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
• Possible on-call requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years current MRI experience required
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• GE equipment experience required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and take call as needed
• Must have own vehicle
• License required if applicable
• Skills checklist for MRI current within 1 year required
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required

Additional Information

• Facility is a teaching hospital recognized for patient safety excellence
• Must be willing to work required holiday blocks including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year periods with surrounding weekends
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted during the assignment
• All schedule and time-off requests must be finalized prior to offer, as changes after offer may not be approved
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation included
