Job Summary: MRI Technologist position in the designated location. This role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols. The position requires ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment, and delivering high-quality imaging services to adult and geriatric patients.
Job Details:
Schedule: 10-hour day shifts starting either at 7:00 AM or 8:30 AM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Call on Sundays based on rotation, approximately every 4th to 5th Sunday.
Required Qualifications: Valid California Certification for Radiologic Technologist, ARRT in Radiology, with ARRT in MRI preferred; BLS certification required; California IV certification preferred prior to start; at least 2 years of MRI Technologist experience; experience with abdomen, brain, breast, cervical, chest, female pelvis, hip/bony pelvis, knee, lumbar, male pelvis, shoulder, thoracic imaging; familiarity with GE 1.5 Signa and GE 1.5 Optima units; proficiency with image post-processing, PACS, contrast media preparation/administration; valid state license; local radiologic technologist certification in place.
Preferred Qualifications: ARRT in MRI preferred; experience with neuro, MSK, abdomen, breast exams; California IV certification preferred before start.
Additional Information: This assignment may require working during holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). Candidates must commit to working 3 of these 5 holidays and request specific scheduling or time off during submittal. Travel compliance policies must be adhered to, including a 50-mile local radius. Candidates should provide two references covering at least 1 year of recent work history within the last 3 years.
