Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of current MRI experience and ARRT (MR) certification for a 26-week travel assignment in a hospital radiology department.

Details

• Work in the Radiology department of a teaching hospital
• Monday-Friday day shift, 6:30am-3pm or 7am-3:30pm, 40 hours per week
• No weekend requirements, though holiday coverage may be required
• Possible on-call requirements, with call coverage handling the department after midnight
• Approximately 9 patients per shift
• Always paired with another Tech Aide or MRI Tech - never works solo
• Uses GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current MRI experience required
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• GE equipment experience required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and take call as needed
• Must have own vehicle
• License required if applicable
• Skills checklist for MRI current within 1 year required for consideration
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required for consideration

Additional Information

• 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• All requested time off must be submitted and verified prior to offer, with a maximum of 5 days accepted
• Scheduling requests made after offer will not be approved and may lead to a rescinded offer
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
