Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a night shift teaching hospital assignment requiring ARRT or ARMRT MR advanced licensure and Philips scanner experience.

Details

  • Imaging department at a teaching hospital
  • 8-hour night shift schedule with some rotation to evenings, mix of 8s and 12s
  • Shift hours are 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 40 hours per week
  • 1-2 weekends per month required
  • No on-call requirements
  • Must be flexible with scheduling; no block schedules
  • Travelers must work 2 of the following 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day

Requirements

  • BLS certification required
  • ARRT or ARMRIT MR advanced licensure required
  • License required if applicable
  • Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience required
  • Teaching hospital experience required
  • Philips scanner experience required
  • Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
  • Prior travel experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Bi-weekly orientation held on Mondays
  • Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in the area
  • Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April
  • Accepts local candidates
  • Radius-based pay tiers apply based on direct-line mileage: local (50 miles or less), radius (51-100 miles), and travel (101+ miles)
