Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring ARRT or ARMRIT MR advanced certification and Philips MRI experience.

Details

  • Imaging department at a teaching hospital
  • 12-hour night shift schedule with mix of 8s and 12s, 36 hours per week
  • Shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • 1-2 weekends per month required
  • No on-call requirements
  • Must be flexible with scheduling
  • No block schedules permitted

Requirements

  • Current BLS certification required
  • ARRT or ARMRIT license with MR advanced certification required
  • License required if applicable
  • Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
  • Teaching hospital experience required
  • Philips MRI equipment experience required
  • Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
  • Prior travel experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Must work 2 of the 4 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day
  • Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in the area
  • Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
  • Employment gaps exceeding 90 days must be explained
  • Complete work history details including bed count, EMR system, and facility type required for consideration
  • First-time travelers may be considered
  • Accepts local candidates
  • Local rate applies within 50 miles and radius rate applies between 50-100 miles
