KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Produce high-quality diagnostic MRI images per company/protocol, ARRT/ARMRIT and accreditation standards Perform patient safety pre-screening for contraindications; enforce MR zone/access restrictions for patients, staff, and visitors Start and discontinue peripheral IVs using aseptic technique; administer MR contrast (including via ports, CVLs, PICC lines as indicated); identify and escalate adverse reactions per protocol Operate MRI scanners; select appropriate coils/imaging techniques Demonstrate proficiency in EMR, PACS, and DICOM systems for image sharing/interpretation Maintain HIPAA confidentiality; communicate effectively with radiologists and the care team REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have
ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification (ARRT(R) with MR eligibility considered per contract) Texas MRT license (or applicable compact/state license) BLS/CPR certification (AHA or ARC) Minimum 1 2 years MRI experience Demonstrated contrast administration & venipuncture competency Preferred / Nice-to-Have
