Job Summary ( Med Surg Tele) :- 
  Position: Float RN (Registered Nurse) with potential for Charge responsibilities

Shift: 3x12-hour shifts (07:00–19:30); Start ASAP
  Experience:-

• Charge RN experience required (can be on small units)
   
• Cardiac step-down experience ideal but not required
   
• Experience must be in the US (Canadian experience alone does not qualify)
  
  Patient Population:-
  
  May care for ER boarded patients, telemetry, med-surg, and other unit types
  
  Unit Details:-
   
• Floats to various units within the hospital based on staffing needs
   
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4–6, varies by unit and acuity
  
  Charge Responsibilities:-
   
• May include charge duties on small units (1–2 RNs with LPN/CNA support)
   
• Duties include staffing management, bed flow, and general coordination
  
  Hospital Info:-
   
• Providence St. Peter Hospital, Short Term Acute Care, 325 beds
   
• Uses EPIC charting system
  
  Contract Notes:-
   
• Check with manager before offering 48-hour/week contracts
   
• Team-oriented, adaptable to multiple patient types and units
