Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: August 25, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Patient ratio 1:5-6. This is a 13-week travel assignment.

Highlights:

• 36-bed telemetry unit specializing in cardiac care with all private rooms
• Work with a diverse patient population ranging from young adults to geriatric patients
• Care for patients recovering from cardiac interventions including cardiac surgery, coronary artery stent placement, and pacemaker implants
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system with structured orientation program
• Opportunity to advance your cardiac and telemetry nursing skills in a dynamic environment

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license or compact state license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, post-cardiac procedures, dysrhythmia management, and vasoactive drips
• Proficiency in arterial line management, port access, BiPAP/CPAP, and other advanced nursing skills
• Must complete onboarding requirements within 48 hours of contract signing
