Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg/Tele Oncology unit requiring 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• 24-bed Medical Surgical/Oncology unit
• Day shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00am-7:30pm
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Floating required to other units and Integris facilities within 75 miles
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active RN license (OK or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) preferred
• 2 years of Med/Surg Tele nursing experience required
• Oncology nursing experience including chemotherapy administration and management preferred
• Experience with IV therapy, central line/port care, and blood product administration
• Experience recognizing and managing oncologic emergencies preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current driver's license or state-issued ID required for consideration
• Utility bill in candidate's name with matching address within the last three months required for consideration
• 2 supervisory references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to a Medical Surgical and Oncology patient population
• Deliver chemotherapy, biotherapy, and symptom management care in accordance with oncology best practices
• Support psychosocial care needs including patient/family education and end-of-life care
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Maximum of 5 days RTO accepted per 13-week assignment; no holiday RTO permitted
• No block scheduling requests accommodated

• Former Integris employees must have a minimum of 1 year separation from employment to be eligible
