MS/Tele RN - Night Shift (4x12 Hours)

Schedule

Night shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, weekdays, every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MS/Tele Registered Nurse to provide care in a 70-bed rural facility. The RN will be adept in acute care/telemetry nursing with occasional pediatric/adolescent patient care responsibilities. The position requires flexibility, as the RN may float to other units, including ICU, to meet patient care needs. A House Supervisor is available for support 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Caring for adult and adolescent patients in an acute care/tele environment.
• Administer medications and treatments as required.
• Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patients' conditions.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatments.
• Float to other units as necessary to maintain staff ratios and ensure quality care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a telemetry or acute care setting.
• Current RN license (WV or Compact license required).
• Certification in BCLS and ACLS is mandatory; PALS preferred.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and management of patients post myocardial infarction (MI) and renal failure is preferred.
