Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience, Epic proficiency, and the ability to pass a mandatory EKG exam during onboarding.

Details

• Hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit, with a primarily medical/surgical patient population
• Patient population includes observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical/surgical diagnoses, palliative/end-of-life/hospice, psychiatric observation, diabetic patients (including new onset and complications), and surgical/surgical observation patients
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend (EOW) required; holidays covered as needed
• Floating required across all facilities within the health system if needed
• EMR: Epic (mandatory experience required)

Requirements

• Active NC RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding, with two attempts allowed — candidates should prepare in advance as no study materials will be provided by the facility
• Prior Charge RN experience is preferred
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
