Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position requiring at least 2 years of recent experience and a prior travel assignment.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit in a large hospital setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12, 7p-7a), with 4x12 or 48-hour options available
• On-call as needed
• Weekend rotation required as needed; weekend block scheduling may be considered
• May float between like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius, though cross-campus floating is rare

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state or compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines (TN or compact required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience required (3+ years preferred)
• At least 1 completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers not accepted
• ADN accepted for this position
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Large hospital experience preferred

Additional Information

• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered; no local candidates accepted
• Former permanent staff or travelers at this facility must be separated for at least 1 year before returning
• If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall during the assignment, must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 holidays fall during the assignment, must work at least 1
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application, as RTO requested after an offer is made will not be honored
