BHS Workforce is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Greensboro, North Carolina.

**Job Description:**
- Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
- Work Schedule: 3x12s, Days, 7a-7:30p
- Every 3rd Weekend, Holidays as needed
- Float required: Flexibility to float between all Cone Health campuses as needed
- Minimum 1 year of experience required (No first-time travelers)
- Preferred experience in Acute Care Rehabilitation
**Key Responsibilities:**
- BLS Certification required
- Experience with EPIC charting system
- Interpretation of laboratory results, Medication reconciliation
- Conduct Patient Health Questionnaire, assess Allergies, and Vital Signs (Blood Pressure, Respirations, Temperature, Pulse)
- Perform Dressing Changes and set up aseptic/sterile procedure trays
- Capillary draws, Labeling of specimens, Throat and Urine samples (UA Clean Catch), Phlebotomy
- Telephone Triage and handling Pharmacy calls/patient refill requests
**Patient Care Focus:**
- Care for patients with diagnoses such as CVA, TBI, ABI, Spinal Cord Injury, Neurological disorders, generalized debility
- Specialized inpatient rehabilitation department focusing on care for post-surgical, stroke, and brain injury patients
- Patient Ratios: 1:6, with a unique unit at 1:7 ratio on a rotating basis
**Unit Details:**
- Daily Census: 39
- Number of Beds: 49
- Interdisciplinary support from IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and more
**Compliance & Requirements:**
- Active nursing license required for submission
- No open cases on background checks permitted
- Must adhere to travel compliance: RTO submitted with the application (no post-submission RTO accepted)
- Current driver’s license to verify address
- EKG exam compliance required (2 attempts allowed)
- Modules (non-billable, average 2-4 hours) to be completed during orientation
