Job Details Position: Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry (Travel RN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Location: Lebanon, Pennsylvania 17042 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Shifts per Week: 3 Shift Duration: 12 hours Weekly Hours: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,850 - $1,940 Start Date: 10/12/2026 Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend, as needed Holiday Expectation: Expected to work 2 of 3 major holiday periods when applicable Orientation: 1 day of orientation before taking assignments Floating: May float to other Med/Surg floors and, when needed, rehab or other supporting units Charting System: Epic experience required Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license with no license issues or hits Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry, Medical-Surgical, or similar acute care experience required ACLS and BLS required NIHSS certification preferred or required based on unit needs Strong Epic charting experience required Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients in an acute care hospital setting Ability to manage telemetry monitoring and recognize dysrhythmias Experience with patient ratios of approximately 5:1 on days, nights, and weekends Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled Ability to adapt quickly in a high-acuity environment Current skills in IV therapy, medication administration, oxygen therapy, and patient safety practices Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric Med/Surg Telemetry patients Monitor telemetry, assess cardiac rhythms, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Care for patients with stroke, cardiac disease, respiratory illness, CHF exacerbations, sepsis, COPD, and related diagnoses Support patients recovering from surgery, orthopedic procedures, and other acute medical conditions Administer medications, complete patient assessments, and document care accurately in Epic Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, coordinated patient care Provide education and support to patients and families throughout the care process Float to other units as needed to assist with patient care and unit coverage Maintain a professional, flexible, and team-focused approach in a fast-paced hospital setting Follow infection prevention, safety, and quality standards while delivering compassionate bedside care Apply now for this Travel RN Med/Surg Telemetry position in Lebanon, Pennsylvania and take the next step in your nursing career today.
