Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift position requiring at least 2 years of acute med/surg experience and MO or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Cares for adult and geriatric patients with conditions such as CHF, infection, pneumonia, stroke, TIA, seizures, and UTI
• Provides post-procedure care for pacemaker and cardiac catheterization patients
• Manages a variety of post-care procedures including thoracentesis, chest tubes, cardiac drips, heparin drips, and peritoneal dialysis
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:00)
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of acute med/surg nursing experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• Deliver direct patient care within a fast-paced med/surg tele unit
