We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg and Telemetry for a contract position in Garfield Heights, OH. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med Surg and Telemetry units.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Ohio RN license or a compact state license in hand.
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Med Surg/Telemetry.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is REQUIRED for submission. Charge RN references are accepted.
• Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation, with acceptable scores required.

Shift details are as follows: Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Please note that all start dates, RTO/scheduling information, and shift details must be accurate and confirmed at the time of submission, as these cannot be changed after an offer is presented. All requirements listed in the job description and submission requirements are NON-NEGOTIABLE, and no exceptions will be made.
