Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and prior Med/Surg Tele experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required, with NIHSS required prior to start
• Minimum of 1 year combined permanent Med/Surg Tele experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required (charge RN references accepted)
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias

Additional Information

• Will complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation, with a passing score required
• Required to work every other holiday
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
