Join our team as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse at a leading acute-care hospital in Aurora, CO. This contract position offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while providing exceptional patient care. We are seeking dedicated RNs to support our surgical specialties unit with a focus on trauma, acute care surgery, and various reconstructive procedures.

Position Details:

• Shifts: Rotating shifts, including Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) and Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
• Experience Required: 2 years of acute care experience required (high acuity unit). First-timers accepted.
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, per unit needs.
• Certifications Required: BLS, CO or Compact RN license; BSN preferred.
• On-call Requirement: No.
• Floating: Yes, floating as required and may float to sister facilities based on facility needs.
• Total Staffed Beds: 36.
• Charting: Epic.
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: 1:7, with flexibility based on staffing and unit needs.
• Scrub Color: Navy.
• Special Requirements: Frequently perform management of central lines, nasogastric tube insertion, ostomy changes, and education.
• Patient Diagnoses: Trauma (Level I), Acute Care Surgery, Reconstructive Urology, ENT, Vascular Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, Minimally invasive procedures (thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, hernia, appendectomy, cholecystectomy).

Please note: 10 RTO days max approved. RTO is not allowed during the following time periods: September 2 - September 12, 2026, October 25 - November 4, 2026, November 22 - December 2, 2026, December 20 - January 3, 2027. We may consider flexibility for harder-to-fill positions.
