Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at the time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification preferred or required per unit needs
• One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required
• Ability to complete facility assessments during orientation with a passing score
• Must have active certifications and be ready to start upon assignment approval

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition promptly
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with standards of practice
• Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
• Support a positive patient experience through professional communication and attentive care
• Maintain compliance with unit protocols, safety standards, and clinical best practices
