Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital assignment requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:00 AM)

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (all must be active, no pending certifications accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in the Med/Surg Tele specialty required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required (co-worker references not accepted)
• No open background check cases or license hits accepted

Additional Information

• Will complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation, with up to 2 attempts to pass
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical/religious exemptions only
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Expected to work every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem employees cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments may be extended up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning to this health system
