Description
LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Oakland, California.
Job Description & Requirements
- Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry
- Discipline: RN

- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, days
- Employment Type: Travel
Required Experience
- Recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN experience required.
- Strong telemetry monitoring experience required.
- Ability to manage acute care patients with varying levels of complexity.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing patient assignments and unit needs
Required Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior EKG interpretation experience preferred.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
Floating Requirements
- Travelers may float to other hospital units within their scope of practice.
- Depending on census and staffing needs, travelers may float to:
- Ashby Campus
- Herrick Campus
- Flexibility with floating between campuses and hospital units is expected.
- Travelers may receive approximately 1.5 hours’ notice prior to shift start when floating is required.
- Shuttle transportation is provided when floating between campuses.
Weekend rotation required On-call as needed
