Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a 12-hour day shift assignment requiring OK or compact RN license and prior telemetry experience.

Details

• 24-bed Med/Surg Tele unit with an average daily census of 24
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Patient ratios of 1:4 days and 1:6 nights
• Charting completed in Epic
• Floating required to other units or sister facilities within a 75-mile radius, based on need
• Block scheduling requests not accommodated

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and emergency response including Rapid Response/Code teams
• Experience with IV therapy, central/PICC line care, and blood product administration
• Experience managing respiratory support including BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, and tracheostomy care
• Experience with renal, neurological, and substance withdrawal patient care
• Valid driver's license or state-issued ID required
• Utility bill in candidate's name with matching address dated within the last 3 months required
• 2 supervisory references required
• Permanent address must be located more than 75 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, including cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are not accepted; address must be outside the 75-mile radius
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per 13-week assignment, with no holiday RTO accepted
• Previous INTEGRIS employees must have a minimum 1-year separation from employment to be eligible
• Explanation required for any gaps of 3 months or more in work history
• Charge experience preferred but not required
