Description

American Traveler is seeking a NICU Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week night shift contract requiring ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.

Details

  • Work in the Respiratory Care department caring for neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patients
  • Perform typical procedures including nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management
  • Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Rotating weekend schedule
  • No call requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience required
  • Current RRT license required if applicable
  • Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS
  • ICU, NICU, and/or PICU experience preferred
  • No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Provide respiratory care services to critically ill neonatal patients in the NICU
  • Dress code requires olive green scrub tops and black scrub bottoms
  • Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates will be considered
