Overview Our client is undertaking a multi‑site network readiness assessment across hospitals, clinics, and administrative facilities throughout Washington, Oregon, and Western Montana. The goal is to evaluate each location's readiness for the deployment of an Out‑of‑Band connectivity solution utilizing Starlink and related technologies. The Network Site Audit Technician will travel to customer locations, perform onsite assessments, gather infrastructure and network data, document site conditions, and provide detailed findings to the project team. This role is ideal for an early‑career networking professional seeking hands‑on experience with enterprise networking, telecommunications, and network resilience initiatives within healthcare environments.Key Responsibilities Travel to assigned healthcare facilities throughout WA, OR, and Western MT.Conduct onsite network and infrastructure audits according to established project procedures.Gather and document information including: Network equipment inventoryISP and WAN connectivity detailsMDF/IDF locations and conditionsAvailable rack space, power, and cabling infrastructureCellular signal strength and connectivity optionsExterior site conditions relevant to Starlink installationPotential antenna or satellite mounting locationsTake photographs of network rooms, wiring, equipment, and exterior installation areas.Verify and document site readiness requirements for Starlink and OOB deployment.Complete standardized audit forms, checklists, and reports.Escalate concerns, risks, or site‑specific challenges to project leadership.Maintain accurate records and submit findings in a timely manner.Represent the client professionally while interacting with site personnel and facility staff.Required Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in networking, telecommunications, IT support, field services, or related technical roles.Basic understanding of networking concepts including LAN/WAN connectivity, routers and switches, IP addressing, network closets, and structured cabling.Preferred Qualifications Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Networking, or Telecommunications.CompTIA Network+, CCNA coursework, or similar networking training.Previous experience conducting site surveys, audits, or infrastructure assessments.Experience working in healthcare, enterprise, or distributed network environments.Familiarity with Starlink installations, satellite communications, or network resiliency solutions.Success Factors The successful candidate will be organized, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and comfortable working independently in the field. They will have the technical curiosity to identify and document site conditions accurately while ensuring a consistent audit process across dozens of locations.Job Type & Location Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.Pay and Benefits Pay range: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour.
