Travel Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We’re hiring an experienced Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a high-acuity travel assignment in Mission Hills, CA. This Level II Trauma and thrombectomy-capable stroke center cares for complex neuro, cardiovascular, trauma, surgical, and critically ill patients.

Position Details

• Travel Pay: $2,155.06/week
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend coverage, No call required
• Self-scheduling
• Float required to PCU and ICU overflow as needed
• Epic charting

Clinical Experience

• Stroke/CVA, EVD, ICP monitoring, post-craniotomy, post-neurosurgery, TBI and spinal cord injury
• Ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP and high-flow oxygen
• Arterial, central, PICC and peripheral lines
• Continuous sedation and vasoactive/cardiac drips
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• ABG interpretation
• Multi-system organ dysfunction/failure
• Cardiac cath/intervention and post-cardiac surgical patients
• CRRT, sepsis, trauma and surgical ICU patients

Requirements

• Active California RN license required
• 2+ years of ICU experience required; Strong Neuro ICU experience required
• Previous travel experience required; No first-time travelers
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS and LA City Fire Card
• Level II Trauma experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Epic experience preferred
• Must be comfortable with 1:2 ICU ratios
