Job Summary: The Intelligence Care Unit Neurological (ICU Neuro) is located in a facility in Fort Worth, Texas. This position involves working in a 12-bed Neuro Sciences Intensive Care Unit specializing in neurological patient care. The role requires providing specialized nursing care to patients with neurological conditions, utilizing advanced equipment, and collaborating within a dedicated team.
Job Details:
Location: 900 8th Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76104
Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certifications, relevant educational background, and a minimum of 0 years of ICU experience. Experience in neuro ICU is preferred. Candidates must have at least 2 years of ICU experience; candidates without this will not be considered.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic medical records and neuro ICU experience.
Additional Information: The unit handles bedside procedures such as EVD placement, lumbar puncture, intubation, bronchoscopy, central line placement, EGD, and TEE. Staff are personable, team-oriented, self-driven, and proactive. The unit maintains a policy of floating staff as per hospital guidelines.
