Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring a VA or compact license and 2 years of critical care experience.

Details

• ,ICU with 18 beds
• Patient ratios of 1:2, with flexibility based on acuity
• Uses Epic EMR
• Shift is a 12-hour day/night rotation (variable) at 36 hours per week
• Weekend requirement of every other weekend
• Holiday coverage required for every other holiday
• May be required to float to the Neuro IMC unit

Requirements

• Active RN license (VA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS, plus NIHSS
• CCRN, SCRN, or CNRN certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of Neuro ICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to neuro ICU patients with flexible acuity-based staffing
• Floor orientation consists of 2 shifts, with additional shifts available if needed
• Scrub requirement: Navy blue pants with solid navy blue or solid white tops, and solid navy blue or solid white jackets
