Position Details

• Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
• Specialty: Surgical ICU / Trauma ICU / Burn ICU / Transplant ICU preferred
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Shift: Nights, 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• First-time Travelers: Accepted
• Documentation System: Epic

Schedule and Requirements

• 3 night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Surgical ICU, Trauma ICU, Burn ICU, or Transplant ICU experience preferred
• Level II Trauma experience required

Required Certifications

• Ohio RN License (required)
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to adult and geriatric ICU patients
• Manage ventilated patients and advanced airway support
• Care for trauma, burn, transplant, and post-surgical patients
• Administer blood products and titrate vasoactive drips
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, chest tubes, and CRRT
• Monitor invasive hemodynamics, ICP, and EVDs
• Assist with bedside procedures including trachs, PEGs, bronchoscopy, and endoscopy
• Perform burn dressing care and advanced wound management
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and communicate using SBAR
