Common procedures include intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring, external ventricular drain (EVD) placement and management, lumbar drains, continuous EEG (cEEG) monitoring, mechanical ventilation, targeted temperature management, arterial line and central venous catheter insertion, bedside bronchoscopy, tracheostomy and PEG care, hyperosmolar therapy, thrombolytic therapy, post-thrombectomy and post-craniotomy care, hemodynamic monitoring, and frequent neurological assessments. Multidisciplinary collaboration with neurology, neurosurgery, neurointerventional radiology, rehabilitation, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, and neurocritical care teams.
