• Schedule Notes: Weekend and holiday rotation required; travelers must be prepared to float as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, with recent acute care experience in the specialty
• Medical, surgical, and trauma ICU experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification through AHA
• Ability to pass telemetry testing prior to start
• Strong experience caring for adult and geriatric critically ill patients
• Familiarity with Level I Trauma Center expectations and standards
• Flexibility for floating, weekend coverage, and holiday rotation

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to critically ill medical, surgical, and trauma patients in a fast-paced ICU environment
• Monitor and manage complex patient conditions, using critical thinking and evidence-based practice
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced critical care interventions
• Support patients requiring ventilator management, vasoactive drips, and continuous sedation
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support services to deliver coordinated patient care
• Respond quickly to changes in patient status and assist with emergency response needs across the hospital
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow all unit protocols and safety standards
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture focused on high-quality, compassionate care
