Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit Neurovascular unit at a healthcare facility located in Chico, California, is seeking a qualified registered nurse for night shift coverage. This position involves caring for neuro and trauma patients, with responsibilities including managing patients with intracranial pressure monitors, continuous renal replacement therapy, and lumbar drains. The role requires flexibility to float to other units such as cardiovascular, telemetry, ICU/CCU, or medical-surgical units as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse license, current Basic Life Support (BLS), current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), at least 5 years of acute critical care experience, Level II trauma critical care experience, Epic charting experience, previous traveler experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro/trauma patient care, ability to float to other units as needed.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The healthcare organization accepts agency staff who are W-2 employees of their respective agency. This position requires the ability to float as needed in Medical/Surgical and Critical Care units.
