Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit Neurological (ICU Neuro) registered nurse position is located at a healthcare facility requiring a professional with neuro-critical care experience. This role involves providing specialized patient care for individuals with neurological conditions, including those requiring arterial lines, external ventricular drains, lumbar drains, post-operative neuro cases, and acute thrombectomies. The position offers a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, including day and night shifts, with every other weekend required, starting on 10/19/2026.

Job Details:

• Location: Not specified, but remote from facility within 50 miles is not accepted.
• Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license at the time of submission, 12 years of relevant experience, CPR certification through the American Heart Association, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, and basic ability to navigate web-based applications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with external ventricular drains, lumbar drains, and arterial lines.
• Additional Information: The position entails working in a neuro-intensive care setting with a patient ratio of 1:3. Must be able to start as soon as possible, with weekly orientation sessions held every Monday barring holidays. Candidates must be separated from any current employment with Beth Israel Lahey Health within the last six months to be eligible. No local travelers will be accepted, and parking may cost up to $43 per day.
