Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Neuro IR role at a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital, requiring 2+ years of IR and Neuro experience.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit specializing in Neuro IR procedures
• Daily caseload of 4-5 cases per technologist
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call required every 5th weekend and one night per week, must be within 30 minutes of facility during on-call
• No floating to sister facilities or within scope required
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Interventional Radiology and Neuro
• BLS and ARRT (R) certification required
• ACLS and CCI RCIS certifications preferred
• AHA certifications only
• License required if applicable
• Radiation badge required and must be supplied by the traveler/agency
• Driver's license and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Level 1 Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching hospital with 865 staffed beds
• Facility provides scrubs
• First-time travelers considered depending on position needs
• Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis within a 60-mile radius
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for facility approval
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June-November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
