Contract | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Neurosurgery/Neuroscience unit serving neurosurgery and neuroscience patients
Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6 on an 18-bed unit
Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
Adhere to facility dress code standards including navy blue scrubs and no artificial fingernails

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neuro and/or Neurosurgery nursing
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current AHA NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience working with neurosurgery and neuroscience patient populations
Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Positive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
