Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in PCU, progressive care, telemetry, neuro, or medical-surgical nursing
• Experience caring for stable post-stroke, neurosurgical, telemetry, and medical patients
• Ability to work night shifts and provide safe, compassionate patient care
• Comfort working with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Cerner experience preferred
• Strong communication, prioritization, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for patients in a neuro progressive care setting
• Monitor and manage stable post-stroke, neuro-ortho surgical, telemetry, and medical patients
• Assess patient conditions, administer treatments, and respond to changes in status
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, efficient, and effective patient outcomes
• Document accurately in the electronic health record
• Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach while delivering excellent bedside care
• Float as needed to medical, telemetry, and neuro areas based on unit needs
