Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Neuro Telemetry – Lubbock, TX 79410

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Lubbock, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), 91-day assignment. Six weekend shifts per six-week schedule required. Must commit to working three of five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Highlights:

• Work in a 379-bed Level II Trauma Center with a 29-bed Neuro Telemetry unit
• Comprehensive Stroke Center with dedicated Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (4 beds for continuous EEG monitoring)
• Patient ratios: 1:4 days/nights, 1:5 weekends with average daily census of 27 patients
• Interdisciplinary team approach with support from IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic electronic health record system in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Dedicated mentors available to support new caregivers during orientation

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum one year of MS/Telemetry nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with patient ratio of 1:4 and electronic charting systems
• Skills in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, neurosurgical care, stroke/TIA care, seizure disorders, and spinal cord injury management
• Community hospital and Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
• Willingness to float between units as needed
