We are seeking a dedicated Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Neurology to join our team in Spokane, WA. This contract position is ideal for RNs looking to expand their skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment. As a Telemetry RN, you will play a crucial role in monitoring patients' vital signs and providing high-quality care to those with neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Float between units as required.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data.
• Provide care for post-surgical neurology patients and those with various neurological diagnoses.
• Utilize the NIH stroke scale effectively.

Requirements:

• 1 year of Neuro experience as a Telemetry RN.
• Comfortable with the NIH scale.
• Ability to care for post-surgical neurology patients.
• Available to work every other weekend.
• Expected patient ratios of 1:5.

This position is within a Short Term Acute Care facility that also serves as a Level II Trauma Center and a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, with a total of 629 staffed beds. The hospital is recognized as a teaching hospital, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth.
