Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Neurodiagnostic Technologist II to join a leading medical center in Portland, Oregon. This role is responsible for performing routine and advanced neurodiagnostic procedures while supporting physicians and clinical teams in delivering high-quality neurological care.
The ideal candidate will have experience with EEG monitoring, intra-operative monitoring, and advanced neurodiagnostic procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and complex electroencephalographic (EEG) procedures
Conduct intra-operative monitoring and continuous EEG (cEEG) monitoring
Perform ambulatory video EEG and EMU monitoring
Monitor placement of sphenoidal, depth, strip, and grid electrodes
Assist with WADA testing and cortical stimulation procedures
Maintain accurate patient records and technical documentation
Ensure patient safety and adherence to neurodiagnostic protocols
Collaborate with neurologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
Requirements
Active ABRET certification required upon hire
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
Minimum 1 year of full-time neurodiagnostic experience required
Experience with EEG and advanced monitoring procedures preferred
Training in evoked potentials and intra-operative monitoring preferred
Strong technical, communication, and patient care skills required
