Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical unit will provide high-quality patient care by utilizing their clinical expertise and experience in neuro care. This role involves managing a diverse set of patients, including those requiring step-down interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with the established protocols and best practices.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions to provide timely interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care activities.
• Utilize EPIC software for electronic health records management.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical or neuro specialty.
• NIHSS certification is mandatory for consideration.
• ACLS certification required.
• Experience working with step-down patients is preferred.
• Strong understanding of patient care procedures and protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
