Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with a focus on Medical and Surgical care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in neuro nursing and be proficient in managing patients requiring acute medical attention.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the medical/surgical unit.
• Monitor and assess patient's conditions, implementing care plans as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records utilizing EPIC software.

Qualifications

• Must have NIHSS certification included in the candidate profile.
• Neuro experience is mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty of medical/surgical nursing.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
• Active and valid Nursys license verification is necessary.
