Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical (Nursing)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a medical/surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical/surgical patients.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor and assess patients' conditions, documenting any changes.
  • Educate patients and their families about care plans and health management.
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical/Surgical specialty.
  • Current and valid nursing license (Nursys License Verification required).
  • ACLS and BLS Certification Card.
  • Proficiency in EPIC or similar electronic health record systems.
  • Ability to provide references and complete a skills checklist.
  • Work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days.

Common Diagnoses

The patient population may include those with general medical/surgical conditions and overflow oncology cases.
