Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 13-week day shift assignment at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the 4B Surgical unit of a high-acuity, Level 1 trauma center
• Patient population includes urology, gyn, ortho, medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT, and vascular cases
• Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Travelers expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Block scheduling not typically approved
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med/Surg specialty required
• Experience in high-pressure, large-scale trauma environments required
• Background in high-volume hospitals managing diverse and severe cases required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Work history/resume with no employment gaps greater than 60 days required for consideration
• Skills checklist matching specialty required for consideration
• Certification cards and Nursys license verification required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care across a wide range of surgical and medical specialties in a fast-paced trauma setting
• No RTO permitted during this assignment
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel rate
• Candidates limited to small or low-volume hospital experience will not be considered
