Description

American Traveler is hiring a Neuro-Progressive Care RN for a day-shift travel assignment requiring Epic experience and prior Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU experience.

Details

• Neuro Progressive Care unit within a hospital setting
• 5-bed Med-Surg rotation required for all staff
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• BLS and other required certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must complete a Neuro-Progressive competency exam and skills checklist upon offer
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
• Medical exemption required for flu declination; personal or religious exemptions not accepted

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible
