**Exciting Opportunity: Neurosurgical ICU Nurse Educator!** **Job Description:** - Are you passionate about nursing education and professional development? - Join our dynamic team as a Nurse Educator in the Neurosurgical ICU! **Position Summary:** - Develop and implement innovative education and professional development programs for our dedicated health system employees. **Minimum Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing - Valid Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse) - Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience or equivalent health teaching experience - Minimum of 1 year of education/training in administrative, management, and leadership principles **Preferred Qualifications:** - Master’s Degree in Nursing - Instructor certification in AHA disciplines, TNCC, ENPC, NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E, and TeamSTEPPS - Certification in Nursing Professional Development or specialty area - Minimum 1 year of experience as a clinical nurse educator or in a staff development role **Essential Job Functions:** - Design, organize, implement, and evaluate nursing professional development activities - Lead orientation, precepting, transition to practice programs, simulations, competency validation, and continuing education courses - Serve as a nurse planner for Continuing Nursing Education Units **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** - Demonstrate sound judgment, patience, and professionalism at all times - Exhibit strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills - Ability to work varied shifts and manage multiple deadlines - Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office and EMR systems - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills **Schedule Requirements:** - Regular and sustained attendance required - Possibility of working beyond standard hours, including weekends and after-hours shifts - On-call work may be required **Physical Requirements:** - Lifting up to 50 pounds; walking, standing, sitting for extended periods - Flexibility to twist, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach above shoulder level - Continuous fine finger movements and close visual acuity - Cognitive skills to learn, remember, focus, and make timely decisions **Potential Exposures:** - Bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, infectious diseases, and emotionally challenging situations --- **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
