RN – Newborn Nursery / Level II NICU (Travel Assignment)
Shift: 12-Hour Days (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM) 
$2,505.00/week
Contract: 13 Weeks 
Hours: 36 hours/week

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Special Care Nursery (SCN) / Level II NICU experience preferred
• Experience with newborn nursery and Level II NICU patients
• BLS (AHA)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• STABLE certification preferred/required by unit

Unit Details

• 8 Level II Special Care Nursery beds
• Approximately 800 births per year
• 24/7 Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and Neonatology coverage
• Charting system: Allscripts
• Trauma Level III facility

Responsibilities

• Provide care for newborns requiring Level II NICU/SCN support.
• Perform newborn assessments and ongoing monitoring.
• Assist with stabilization and resuscitation as needed.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and feedings per protocol.
• Educate and support parents and caregivers.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, NNPs, and the multidisciplinary team.

Schedule

• Day shift: 0600–1830
• Night shift available on unit: 1800–0630
• Guaranteed 36 hours/week

Required Certifications

• BLS (AHA)
• NRP
• STABLE (per unit requirement/preference)
